Accessibility

Stories, creative work and opportunities should be easier to explore. COTAVATION is working to make our website more accessible to visitors with different abilities, devices and ways of navigating.

Tell us what you need

If you encounter an accessibility barrier or need content in an alternative format, email cotavation@gmail.com with the subject “Website accessibility.” You can also use our contact form; write “accessibility request” in the project description and “not applicable” for project-only fields.

Please include the page address, what you were trying to do and the format or assistance that would help. Browser, device and assistive-technology details are welcome if you wish to share them. You do not need to disclose a diagnosis or medical information.

Alternative content formats

You may request a text description of an image, a readable version of a document, or captions, a transcript or a summary for media. Tell us which material you need and your preferred format so we can discuss an available alternative.

Our approach

We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, to guide practical improvements. Areas of review include readable contrast, visible keyboard focus, meaningful headings, form labels and instructions, image descriptions, mobile layouts and controls that work without a mouse.

Current limitations

This is an ongoing effort, not a declaration of full WCAG conformance. Older galleries and documents may need improved descriptions or reading order. Some prerecorded videos may not yet include accurate captions or transcripts. Embedded players, booking tools, shopping services and other third-party content may have accessibility limitations outside our direct control.

We welcome reports of these barriers and requests for an alternative way to access the information or complete a task.
